My boyfriend and I have a bet that I can’t make it to level 70 before WotLK comes out. I’m currently working with a lvl 62 Draeni Hunter, full rested and 3 bars away from 63.

Is it possible to level up quickly one you hit the 60s? What’s the best way to go about leveling, and how much time will this take? If I win the bet, we’ll get a kitten.

Choosing a priest as a character in World of Warcraft has some distinct advantages because priests can heal efficiently and do massive DPS as shadow priests. However they only wear cloth armor so they die far more easily than other classes. With the expansion pack, Cataclysm, there are two new races for the online game. In keeping with the trend set by previous races, there is now a World of Warcraft goblin dance and a World of Warcraft worgen dance. 

These dances are copied from existing ones, possibly taken from pop music or folk music and the those of the wolf-like characters come from the former. Like previous signature dances in the game, they can be attributed to not just a particular artist, but a particular song. They mirror popular culture, as the artists chosen are usually either popular at the time of the release of the expansion pack, or they match the aesthetic of a particular race. 

No recent description of recent pop music can be complete without a mention of Lady Gaga, who achieved fame with her catchy music and unusual fashion sense. It is her dance from Poker Face that has been appropriated by the female worgen and it is very recognisable. 

Since the worgen are one of two animal-based races alongside the tauren of the horde, it could be argued that the canine features might be considered more alien and therefore less recognisable than those with more humanoid facial features. This may make the song Poker Face an apt choice for a race with less easily read facial expressions. 

The female characters of Azeroth generally have both a more elaborate and a more revealing wardrobe. It is also the case that Lady Gaga’s outfits can often be considered outlandish and skimpy. This is also the case with most of the female artists chosen to be emulated by various female characters so it could be assumed that the female characters often mirror the pop stars, themselves. 

The male worgen has been given the dance of My Love by Justin Timberlake. Like Lady Gaga, Timberlake has become a very famous figure in the world of popular music. Male artists whose dances have been performed by World of Warcraft characters also include Michael Jackson and the Beegees, so it can be said to be only fitting that Timberlake should join them. 

The dance from the Michael Jackson song Beat It is the dance for the male night elf, a fellow alliance character. Since the Justin Timberlake style of dancing has been influenced by that of Jackson, it might be considered appropriate that this newer alliance race has a dance from a Timberlake song. Like the dances attributed to characters before them, these World of Warcraft worgen dances serve as allusions to modern pop culture in the high fantasy land of Azeroth.

Cataclysm is out and world of warcraft cataclysm pets have come with it. There have been thirty seven new pets added to the game in this expansion. A lot of them are acquired through new means like archaeology and just as many through old ways like crafting recipes. Guild levelling is one of the newer features added that allows players to obtain special companions. 

A new cool pet that can be received as a reward from Blizzard’s rendition of the classic Atari game Joust is either the blue or the gold version mini jouster.Miners will be able to obtain the elementium geode. While enchanters will have access to the magic lamp pattern for those who “love lamp”. As always engineers will be able to create many new companions. None of these new vanity pets are bind on pick up so they can be freely traded. 

One of the more anticipated and difficult to obtain companions added to the game is the Hardboiled Egg. It is rumored that this provides the user with dominance over the famed murloc. Until now a murloc pet has only been available to people fortunate enough to attend a certain world of warcraft oriented entertainment event. 

As players delve into the new archaeology system they will find a ton of new pets available. Foremost is the clockwork gnome, a robotic gnome of course. The raptor companion line continues on as well with the addition of the fossilized hatch ling. 

The new guild levelling system allows for players to purchase companions as their guild gains in experience. The first pet is the Armadillo Pup. This pet can be purchased after the guild kills fifty thousand critters. If a guild raises fifty five reputations to exalted status, it’s members will be able to buy a Dark Phoenix Hatchling. The Guild Page or Herald, depending on faction, will allow a player to purchase their guild rewards anywhere without having to visit a capital city. 

In the new player versus player area of the Tol barad peninsula, there is a mob which can be farmed for a Fox Kit pet. This is available to both factions. The Baradin foxes spawn in a non combat zone as well so you do not need to participate in the combat to be able to get them. While in the eastern plaguelands, it might be a good idea to do the quest which awards Fiona’s Lucky Necklace. Killing plague lands monsters of any kind while wearing this will allow them to drop a box which may contain Mister Grubbs. 

Players can still continue to purchase their world of warcraft cataclysm pets through the official website of course. Whether it’s the Pandaren Monk, or the mini moonkin. Some pets actually come with a plush toy version of themselves, like the baby gryphon. The most coveted pets of all are the collectors edition only companions. This expansion included the miniaturized version of the game’s main boss, Deathwing.

I recently wanted to get back in to wow but I uninstalled it. So I bought the Cataclsm expansion and I’m going to install it but I was wondering does the disc install the shattering patch?
