I pretty much soloed my way to level 85 on my Rogue and I used to really suck in dungeons and raids. It warms my heart to see such positive feedback from my readers. It really makes all the months of hard work and preparation I spent putting together the guide worth the while.

Now onto your question – making gold in wow should be something that comes easily with minimum effort involved. Contrary to popular belief, you are NOT required to spend hours upon hours on end being glued to your computer screen to achieve your goals in WoW provided you know exactly what you want and how to go about achieving it. In PvE Formula I believe in teaching you strategies to you play the game more intelligently, quickly and maybe most important of all efficiently and this philosophy drives my entire approach to the game, whether it be conquering all the end-game content Blizzard has to offer, or earning obscene amounts of gold playing the Auction House.

All the major Gold Gurus know that stockpiling is the way to go if you want to earn MASSIVE amounts of gold with minimum effort involved.

In my opinion stockpiling is almost always worth it. However you will need to take risks in order to reap the rewards. In order to minimize the chance of losing on your investment, it is always advisable to take a look at the economy in your respective realms. What is selling and what isn’t? There are many opportunities to make gold whenever a new Patch is on the horizon, and this is again the case with the incoming Patch 4.2.

Luckily for you, I’ve gone ahead and done the heavy lifting and identified this little gem of an item that is sure to hit skyhigh prices once Patch 4.2 hits and it is none other than….Flintlocke’s Woodchucker.

An engineering Schematic, it is a recipe for a brand new ranged weapon scope which attaches a permanent device to a bow or gun that sometimes launches a rabid critter, dealing additional damage to the target and increasing your Agility by 300 for 10 sec.

This is a great scope for Hunters and will be in HUGE DEMAND come the new patch so my advice to you is to stock up on all the items required to craft it, which are

1. Pure Elementium

2. Obsidian Ore

3. Dream Emerald

4. Various Volatiles (which will see a huge surge in demand, as a required item for numerous other items from the incoming patch. Stock these puppies up to the hilt, you will NOT REGRET it.)

“I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out already, but there is a fortune to be made in Holiday pets. Jingling Bell, Red and Green Helper, and Snowman kit are all being dumped on the market this weekend and the undercutting brings these pets to very low prices. I’ve been buying them at anything under 100g, as they typically go for 300+ over the course of the year. Half my stock I bought at 40-50g, which is going to yield a nice turnaround over the course of 2011. Also, Preserved Holy sells well!

Just thought I’d pass it along, as your advice has made me almost 40,000 gold in the last couple weeks. ”

I think this is an excellent way to make gold down the road, and shows your how inflation and supply vs demand works. Right now, there is a high supply, but a very, very low demand for these pets, as people will be getting them from the gifts, they will most likely simply use their own pets instead of going to the auction house. The pets are selling anywhere from 30-100g, and come 6 months down the road, during mid summer the pets will fetch 300-400g, like you said.

I suggest you buy as many as you can under 50g, and store for a later time to sell.

Here’s a Whiptail farming tip from Marko at 20k Leveling Guide:

If you haven’t heard already, many people have made 20, 30, and in some cases 50k purely from selling Cataclysm herbs and ores. I’ve personally made 25k in the pas two days with casual farming, and this is herbalism alone.

I farm some specific herbs, especially since Deepholm and Twilight Highlands have been nerfed. I have resorted to farming Whiptail, and Azsahara’s Veil. Both currently go for 300-400g per stack, and they’re both extremely easy and plentyful to farm.

Below is the best route that I have been using over the past week to make 25k with minimal time spent farming herbs. I can go here, farm for 10 minutes and have 4-5 stacks of herbs without even trying, I’ve even farmed while watching my favorite TV show, Dexter! It’s that easy! (you will need to click on “display images” to see the route above)

Farming Uldum for Whiptail

This is my farming route. I farm a herb called whiptail here, it only grows near bodies of water and is very scarce elsewhere. I follow the river up and down, having to stop every so often, by the time I finish 1 circuit, they all have respawned. It’s a great route that nets 10+ stacks in a matter of 20 minutes and the best thing is that it sells for a nice price as well, I currently sell my stacks at 400g each, and sometimes more when someone cleans the auction house and causes this herb to inflate.

On top of all this, I get tons of Volatile Life, and some Volatile Air since I am an engineer and I have an Electrostatic Condenser in my bags. Overall, I can go out and farm for an hour and make insane amounts of gold with herbalism, I can’t begin to imagine how much gold I would be making if I had dual gathering professions!

World of Warcraft gold grinding is one important activity every player must embark. As such, each must undergo gold farming in a way or another in order to buy the necessary items like weapons and armors. These items in order can be utilized by the player in order to improve his statistics and abilities.

Northrend is located in the north and an icy continent in the World of Azeroth. This is where the evil Scourge can also be found. This is also a venue where high level players would grind for gold all the time. After all Northrend has been tagged as one great place to farm. In order to fully maximize the place, one would need to know the best spots to do so. Hence, here are some great tips you can resort into while grinding in Northrend.

Tip 1: If you are looking for the best loot, you can find it in humanoids. They are actually great mobs to slain with the most favored loot in place. Visit Umbral Brutes and Skeletal Runesmiths at the northeast of the Citadel. In there, look for the skeletal humanoids camp and start getting some of the best loots in the game.

Tip 2: When visiting Northrend, make sure you have the right level and the right dose of skills in order for you to slain mobs. As such, do not even attempt to try doing it when you are at level 68 or less. As much as possible do not fight mobs that are higher than you in terms of levels. You will surely get killed and you would only waste your time as well.

Tip 3: Always learn about the rare mobs in Northrend. With the introduction of the Wrath of the Lich King, it eventually introduces various rare mobs. In turn when they are slain will return more gold and far greater loot. To name a few, there is Syreian the Bonecrusher who can be found at the Grizzly Hills and also King Ping at Howling Fjord.

Tip 4: If you would want to maximize Northrend for gold, make sure you go after those crystallized elements. These are very easy to obtain after all and they quite sell very well in the auction house. In order to get a few of these elements, head to Wintergrasp. Simply look for flaming revenants and get a few crystallized fire. Do also consider your faction so you can freely grind in the area.

These are just a few but helpful tips whenever you venture to Northrend for possible gold and loots. As such Northrend is one nice place not only to get gold but also level at the same time. Hence make sure to do some World of Warcraft gold grinding in the said place in your next WoW login.

In order to address this concern, I have listed a few WoW gold locations that you can go into in order to find tons of gold. In addition, this would also allow the players to focus themselves on leveling rather than gold farming. Furthermore, this would also provide them a sense of gold security in their end.

Place 1: Azshara. This is one of the many popular World of Warcraft gold farming places. In order to maximize the area and its possible gold content, there are a few areas you might want to take a look into. I would strongly recommend you to head north mid area. As such you can start with Massive Timbermaws. After gaining a quite number of gold, you can then proceed to east reaching the Blood Elves. In here, they will eventually drop Runecloth the moment they are slained. Runecloths can actually be marketed in return for gold. In addition there is also a great demand for it as this is used for making bags.

Place 2: Westfall. Westfall is also a nice area for a player to grind. Find the Dafias Trappers outpost. This is a perfect location for both low and high level players. Dafias Trappers have a 35% linen cloth drop rate. With this cloth within your inventory, you can be able to sell it to various players and various professions who would need such. In addition, the Westfall is also a good place to grind for experience.

Place 3: Stratholme. This is a five man instance that is dependent on the skills and the ability of the group. This spans for an hour or less. Skilled groups can finish this instance in 30 minutes. The things that you would need would be each other’s skills, tactics, communication and a whole lot of experience. When you and your group members are done, you can make a lot of gold from the disenchanted items picked in this instance. Hence, making Stratholme one great WoW gold spot.

These are just a few of the many areas you can visit and start grinding. As such these can be good spots for you to start along with your friends in order to get the right amount of gold. Hence you won’t need to buy gold nor do the illegal ways just to get a few. You can simply proceed to these WoW gold locations and start earning from there.
