Does the WoW cataclysm require both pf the previous expansions?

I was just wondering because I planned on buying Cataclysm when I came out and I didn’t have both of the previous expansion packs.

   Yes, each expansion that comes out requires the one prior to it in order to work. To get Burning Crusade you have to have World of Warcraft, to get Wrath of the Lich King you have to have Burning Crusade, and so to get Cataclysm you have to have Wrath of the Lich King.

   Don’t forget you also have to upgrade your account in order for you to enjoy your new expansions.

   I have no idea about what kind of games you are talking about clearly, while my good friend shared me a great website which you can find whatever you want, at least he told me like that. Therefore, I began to play the game which it contains.
